Scandinavian folk art meets tile grid design. I pitched spot illustrations with a playful style for this cheerful spring campaign. Brooke Knoll, an On-Air host and digital audience specialist, brainstormed themes, colors, and vibes. She served as the project manager for this campaign.

I started with the illustrations first, this was a good way to showcase the colors Brooke and I brainstormed as well as spring motifs. I wanted to include Scandinavian folk art themes without being directly on the nose, still keeping a modern twist to the design.

After sharing illustrations, I worked on the Instagram post first. With Brooke's help, Classical KC's Instagram became an important asset to the station. Engagement is always important for a membership drive as well; a 1x1 square with the fleshed out design was a great point to dive into the remaining digital assets.

This quickly became one of my favorite projects that I've worked on with Classical KC. Being a sister station can be tough standing out from such a prominent sibling. Luckily, Brooke has a great eye for modern trends and appreciates using illustration as a way to uplift graphic design. Thank you to KCUR Studios and Classical KC for the opportunity.
